Cat Potatoes

This is from first semester Sophomore year. We had to illustrate a metaphor. I got More than one way to skin a cat. So i did potatoes with cat faces being skinned with multiple tools. I think it turned out well. Tried something out in the background with simple colors as shapes. I believe it came out successful.

Water Colors

I Did this one a while back but i don't think i put it up. But it's batman! and in watercolor!

Character Drawings

So im in the process of this illustration, where we have to take a friend and illustrate them in some way that relates to them. Im about done with the finished drawing but this is what I have so far.

New Tablet

So i got a new Wacom Intous 4 tablet and i decided to try it out. Here are some of my first works still in progress. I'm still new at this but its definatley alot of fun. Im using Corel Painter 11.

 

Grizzly Bear!

So we had to paint an animal with fur or some type of physical texture. I chose a Grizzly bear. Im pretty happy with how it turned out.

So here's the first step to my oil rub. I did a caricature of Fidel Castro i think it came out nicely, next step... to rub brown oil paint all over it.

Watercolors

So i did this watercolor, Of Tim Mctague from Underoath and I think it looks great, but the scan didn't come out as well as i hoped. I believe that's just cause i don't know how to scan correctly.
